Today, the Food is Medicine Coalition’s Accelerator Program announced the graduation of its third cohort working to expand access to the medically tailored life-saving health intervention. These nonprofit agencies recently completed the Accelerator’s intensive, year-long program of online and in-person trainings that include learning the operational, policy and contracting mechanisms to become providers of medically tailored meals.
The Accelerator seeks to help more critically, and chronically ill Americans gain access to medically tailored meals by replicating and scaling the medically tailored meal model in communities across the country. The Accelerator is a partnership between the Food is Medicine Coalition, Community Servings, God’s Love We Deliver, Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation at Harvard Law School and Nonprofit Finance Fund.
Congratulations to our graduates!
