Impact Summary

Dear Friends -

As we come to the end of a remarkably full year for the Food Is Medicine Coalition and the field, we've taken time to reflect on the meaningful progress we've made toward expanding equitable access to the medically tailored meal and grocery interventions across the country. To celebrate, we have compiled a summary of some of the highlights of our year below. In our Impact Summary, our Coalition theme for the year – Equity and Quality – shines through.

So much gratitude goes to our extraordinary FIMC agencies across the country. Every day they deliver hope, nourishment, and dignity to our clients, free of charge. Together we raise awareness of the critical need for medically tailored nutrition in our communities and expand access through policy, research, and education. 

Thank you also to our many new and longtime thought partners in the field. We are confident that together, 2024 will be a year of action toward our collective vision.
